While the UN devotes its human rights operations to the demonization of the democratic state of Israel above all others and condemns the United States more often than the vast majority of non-democracies around the world, the voices of real victims around the world must be heard.

(Reuters) - France's top human rights official said on Thursday that up to 2,000 people could have died in the revolt against Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's more than four decades in power.
In an interview with Reuters, Francois Zimeray also said there was clear evidence to suggest the Libyan leader had committed crimes against humanity.
"The question is not if Gaddafi will fall, but when and at what human cost," Zimeray said at his office in the foreign ministry. "For now the figures we have ... more than 1,000 have died, possibly 2,000, according to sources."
